All INSEVIS peripheral modules can be deployed onboard (in the 3, 7, or 11 free peripheral slots of the INSEVIS PLCs) and, as an extension, decentralized (in the peripheral slots of the head stations/peripheral blocks). With ConfigStage, the peripheral modules are configured via drag and drop, e.g., whether a bit is operated as an input or output, an analog channel should be an input or output with current or voltage, or whether 2, 3, or 4 sensors are used. All modules can be labeled according to customer requirements.

Decentralised peripherals with 12 digital inputs or outputs, 12 counting inputs, 3 analogue channels, each of which can be configured individually as an input or output and for current or voltage and another 3 analogue inputs, as an ultra-compact block, top equipment in the smallest installation space, just as you would expect from INSEVIS. Absolutely easy to set up S7 peripherals via. Connected via CAN, no CAN knowledge required for configuration. Set the node number on 2 rotary switches of the head station and enter this number in the ConfigStage, done. Entry of the start addresses and then automatic address assignment by the software including plausibility test and overview of the address data of the individual I/Os. In a robust metal housing with customer logo for the 35 mm top-hat rail on request.

Absolutely easy to set up S7 peripherals using a decentralized peripheral carrier with 3, 7 or 11 peripheral slots. Connected via CAN, but no CAN knowledge is required for configuration. Set the node number on 2 rotary switches on the head station and enter this number in the ConfigStage, done. Enter the start addresses and then the software automatically assigns the address, including a plausibility test and an overview of the address data of the individual I/Os. Up to 127 units can be controlled by one INSEVIS S7 CPU. Robust, EMC-proof metal housing with customer logo on request for the 35mm top hat rail.

S7 digital peripherals as simple digital inputs/outputs for 24V. Or relay outputs for 230V as individual potential-free contacts with individual fuses. Or parameterizable input and output modules for 24V. Each of the <20mm wide modules has status LEDs, an inclined, space-saving plug-in level and can be labeled with your logo. The analog/digital mixed module MIO84 contains, for example, bit-by-bit switchable inputs or outputs and configurable analog channels as inputs or outputs for current or voltage values. This keeps you flexible. Of course, everything can be labeled with your logo.

The simple setting of the measurement and address ranges of the S7 analog peripherals in the ConfigStage is just one advantage of the analog modules from INSEVIS. Each individual analog module has its own special functions. The settling from 12 to 16 bit resolution (with sign) or the connection selection of the multi-wire technology including a wide variety of measuring sensors. Always labelable with your logo, always precise and always EMC-safe under the powder-coated rear panel of the INSEVIS controllers or the decentralized blocks with S7 peripherals. Of course you can use your Siemens PID control blocks for INSEVIS analog processing.

Have you ever wondered how aluminium pots are labelled? The development engineers at 3Bases in Argentina did, and automated the machines. They chose a 10" INSEVIS-S7 panel PLC with 2x Modbus, 2x Ethernet, CANopen and 2x serial interfaces on board. Firstly, because they are familiar with the Siemens TIA Portal and can start programming immediately, and secondly, because the INSEVIS visualisation software enables incredibly fast screen changes. And, of course, because of the price, which makes German quality and technology affordable in Argentina too.
